I am practically addicted to domains. I spend SO much time browsing though lists of them. Looking at cool look or short domains thinking "oooh I could do a cool project with that domain".
Then I go and purchase a boat load of domains. Then I have lots of domains sitting around in my registrar account. Most of them just sit there. (turns out, you can only work on so many projects at once).
Browsing domains is my version of social media. I have a domain problem.
Do you have a domain problem? Do you ever find yourself looking/searching for random domains (and maybe buy too many that you don't use?)
I made that mistake one year, I think I had like dozen of them (or more?), gave most up the next year and the rest the following one.
yeah its a real problem. I have some great ones that I plan to make projects with. But then some other ones. I'll probably just let them expire later
Same problem with me so I list all them on porkbun marketplace

You are probably procrastinating. Been there, done that :D
Looking at my past experience I now know that procrastination can take multiple forms, at least for me. Building something with this fancy new framework I don't know anything about, looking for the perfect name or domain, polishing this nice icon, etc
Most of the time that won't change anything to what I am building.
And buying domains won't create any accountability like a gym membership does :D
I think what helped me is to reflect on what I am doing, mostly figuring out what my goals are (create the MVP, launch the product, make money, etc) and assess if what I am doing right now directly contribute to this goal. Most of the time, answer if "no".
But buying domains is sooo tempting...
Yeah, you are probably right about the procrastination....
and FOR SURE right about the temptations!!!!!
