Create a company page for App on LinkedIn?
Hi everyone, one of our apps is getting some traction and I'd like to give it some visibility on LinkedIn like a company. But the app isn't a company...it's just one product I made. Is it still better to create a company for it? I know LinkedIn has a projects section but it's at the bottom and I doubt people even see that section.
Why not create a company page and for that company page create a showcase page for each one of your apps? Showcases are just like company pages and I believe are exactly for this purpose. It's much easier to keep them under one umbrella. Microsoft has done the same for all their products (Office etc)
That's what I did for Publer. It's not the only app I'm working on.

What's the down side?
nothing really I guess. It just sounded funny to create a company page around an app when it's a side thing, but I did it anyway and seems fine :)
