Create a Product To be Acquired by Google?
I recently noticed how Google creates products that will be worth several hundred million dollars in the next 5-10 years, but will simply kill them now.
Since 2006, Google has killed over a 280 apps, products, and services. There's an entire website dedicated to all those dead projects.
So why Google kills them?
Some of the reasons why Google may kill a product include:

Is it possible to create projects around Google strategic goals and vision so it can hopefully be acquired by them?

I think most of indiehackers create product with the intention of build and sell.
Espacially when acceess to funds is so much easier and all the copycat business. It's better to create, scale, sell, and move on!
Yes, and maybe with a passion of the art of creating stuff. If building just to sell to Google for Google then to kill your project then I am sure your valuable time is probably spent otherplace.
I don't care what Google does with my product after it's been acquired for an "undisclosed" amount of money. lol

Google maps are limited by data & always looks for apps that can provide local data of local cities in real-time.
Just create an app that pays users to allow them to track real-time data (uber & ola driver are best targets)
Create good enough data & sell that to google maps
Then get acquired by google!
That's it. you have an idea - go for it!
