Hi all,
My name is Nuno Bispo, currently living in the Netherlands but originally from Portugal.
I have been on my Indie Hacker journey in the last 2 years and still learning.
I recently discover Dokku, which is described as "The smallest PaaS implementation you've ever seen", link at: https://dokku.com/
I have been using it to test my projects, mostly built-in Django, and recently used as the PaaS (self-hosted) for my newest SaaS product TweetVerita (launch very very soon).
I have some ideas to create a SaaS around Dokku, similar to Supabase where you have the open-source version you can self-hosted, and then you have the paid hosted version.
To achieve that idea I need a better way to automate most of the commands sent to Dokku, mainly managing apps, databases, and domains (among others).
In that sense, I started an open-source project for a Dokku REST API that you can find at: https://github.com/nunombispo/DokkuAPI
Feedback and all contributions are welcomed.
Happy Indie Hacking.
