Hey fellow Indie Hackers,
I just published a newsletter for busy engineers/engineering managers/designers.
https://www.thecodingnews.com/
My goal is to help you keep up to date in the field to do more important things.
I'm collecting the essential tools/articles/news from the week.
Please let me know what you think and how I could make it better for you!
Hey David! Congrats on launching your newsletter 👏, I believe that the site could use some work, doesn't seem that fleshed out, are you using wix? Btw, are you thinking of doing Ads? (The cookie banner is kind of a turn off 😅), went through your samplenewsletter too, although I like how bite sized each section is, it feels a little impersonal to read.
Thanks for the feedback @ujjwalgupta, it means a lot.
I’m using Mailchimp websites for the landing page, I’ll consider moving to a custom one.
What do you mean by impersonal, do you have any suggestions?
I just meant that it doesn't seem like you're talking to me through the newsletter. You could make small changes to make it seem kinda conversational and personal.
For eg., instead of just writing the description of tools, write out a probable use-case, or your own opinion on it, maybe add a funny comment to it, although this would require more work on your end, might increase the overall quality. This is still my personal opinion though 😅
Thanks man, I’ll use these insights for the next edition 🙏
Just subscribed! Congrats and good luck!
