Hi there, I've built stormkit.io over the last year. It's basically a web application development platform. You can build, deploy and manage your application directly from Stormkit. Staged rollouts, A/B testing, Instant rollbacks, autoscaling, automatic TLS certificates are some of the features I've developed so far. Looking forward to hear your feedback.

Apart from static websites, you can host NodeJS apps on Stormkit. This will allow you to create dynamic websites like e-commerce platforms, news websites, user-generated contents like blogs, or much more.
Plus, as the focus is only frontend applications, you can expect more features related to the frontend problems. For instance, a couple of days ago support for Staged rollouts was added. So you can split the traffic between different versions. I'm also working on new features like a datastore.
This is a very good feedback, I can see that from the website it's not clear the difference. Perhaps I should create a page to compare with other services :)

Firebase is a great tool. I used it a couple of times, they have great features. But from what I could see, the focus is mostly on Mobile applications.
With Stormkit, the focus is on the web applications. It has built-in support for next.js, nuxt.js frameworks and custom nodejs apps. You could deploy either a static website, or a dynamic website. You have staged rollouts, with the help of a slider you can decide how much traffic you'd like to redirect to one version, and how much to the other. You can create environments, so that you can test your application against different settings.

I haven't been able to try out the tool because I use gitlab. I love the idea, but I would be interested in trying out the execution. I am using netlify to run a vuejs app and using that to get my app deployed and running was super simple.
I like the landing page in general. A few things like TOS and privacy policy are missing. I wouldn't be willing to give a service access to my code repositories and payment details without these things being explicitly called out.
The headline seemed misleading to me - "Stormkit provides a toolkit to build modern web applications" - its not a toolkit to build modern webapps. It is definitely a toolkit to deploy and shape traffic. The sub-headline tackles this but there is a large disconnect between the two, confusing me at first glance.
I think you could also add a CTA at the end of the page.
Looking at pricing, I am not sure what's the difference between "CDN requests" and "requests" (for instance the free tier has unlimited cdn requests and 20k requests).
Very valuable feedback, thanks a million times. Integration with Gitlab is on the roadmap, and yeah, you're definitely right about the ToS and privacy policies.
Regarding the requests, I'll try to make them clearer on the website. But basically, CDN requests applies to static websites. If you have a static website, it's completely free. If you're using a server-side code, like NodeJS, on the other hand, then the server requests applies. Those are charged.

Oh don't rush for my sake. I have a working solution for myself that's good enough for now and won't be switching anytime soon. I was more interested in trying out your product out of curiosity, more than anything else.

Currently, I am just deploying a standard vue app that interacts with an API that lives on a different server. I don't really have anything that I am missing in my workflow.
