Creating a 100,000-page website is not easy

I spend the last few days making sure my users don't see a "500" error page!

Let me tell you the story of how I ended up creating this huge Wordpress site.

So, I decided to create a web version of pipfeed.com at -> app.pipfeed.com

I have so far parsed a total of 163,000 articles and wanted to make them available on a website and hence I created the above website.

My plan was to first create a Laravel app but then I realized the performance will be similar to that of Wordpress. So I went ahead with Wordpress.

I have tried various hosting services like cloudways, vultr, digital ocean and finally, I ended up at upcloud which was able to handle the load.

The page-load is much faster now. Try the app. Next task is to clean up the huge database and let users register/login.
