Creating a Podcast and Blog To Target My Users

I'm a few weeks away from releasing my first beta and have a group of 25 beta users signed up. I haven't done much marketing at this point but am considering some options.

I'm curious if starting a problem focused podcast/blog is something anyone has attempted for driving users to your product? My product is specifically targeted at musicians that struggle with practice and seeing progress (which is the number one complaint I have found from fellow musicians). I'm developing a platform based on some core practicing principles to create an environment that provides deliberate practice with immediate feedback on progress as well as metrics to show progress over time. The podcast and blog series would be focused on practice and how to get the most from your practice and tools (wink, wink) that help you not only see better results but build structure and discipline in your practice time.

I'm also planning on setting up a Twitch stream once I get the app live and streaming my practice sessions with me using the app.

I'm curious on thoughts around this idea.
