Creating animated explainer videos
Hi All,
I would like to create short animated video's in which I explain basic math to kids. I wonder if you could give me some recommendations for the best software to use. It should be simple without too much of a learning curve.
I used doodly.com to build a 6-minute explainer video for my SaaS product. Doodly was quite easy to use. Look at the homepage of trainersjoy.com to see the resulting video.
(O.K., I admit that I did not use only Doodly but also a video editing program, afterwards, because I had to merge the doodle stuff with real video and other stuff).
For the voices, I used freelance professionals on Fiverr.
From script to live, the total elapsed time was about 2-3 weeks.
idea: You can also create how-to animations to let users learn how to use our apps. Animated tutorials are great for kids and grownups aswel.
You can use VideoScribe, but if it's for only one or 2 videos, use fiverr. Time is money, and your time to spend to use this kind of tool is the time you don't spend for other things.

What Paolo said! I freelance on the side to support Plainly as a motion designer who makes explainer videos and i can tell you that anything custom will take you a few months to learn. My advice would be to find an easy to use online editor of sorts, Explain Everything looks cool and try to do it that way.
