Creating free tools to boost traffic?

Hey! Have you ever tried creating free tools to drive traffic to your main product? I made LogoShaper (logoshaper.co), a logo maker. Now I'm thinking about crafting free tools around it, like palette generator, brand tooling, etc.

Have you used free tools to attract more visitors? thanks!

      You can try the following:

      1. Virtual Fitting Room: Develop a tool that allows customers to virtually try on your clothes. They can upload their photo and see how your products would look on them. This interactive experience enhances engagement and confidence in purchasing.

      2. Size Guide Generator: Design a tool that assists customers in finding their accurate size for each product. This reduces returns and enhances the shopping experience.

      3. Outfit Builder: Offer an outfit builder tool where customers can mix and match products to create their own unique outfits. This tool encourages them to explore different items in your store.

Haven't gotten to that point, but Rick Blyth (check out his YouTube/ free Micro SaaS guide) used free tools to funnel users into his paid tools. He was able to make enough money to exit some of his apps. Check him out! He is one of my inspirations :)

Hello! Just recently there was a popular post about it here, on IH: We increased our revenue X2 by launching a free product by @sveta_bay .

I am making a tool to add hormozi style and other popular styled captions to short form content in one click. It's almost done on the dev side, and I'll launch very soon. Is there any way I can make free tools around it? What do you say?

Your website looks great; I can't wait to try it out!

Did you design the UI yourself? If so, could you share your process? Or if you outsourced it, how did you go about that? I'm particularly interested because when building my own website's UI, I essentially copied and combined designs from websites I liked. Did you do something different?

A designer did the UI part! My process is to get help from designers or do it by myself.
Thanks, would love to hear your feedback after you try it!

At Naker we once built a free tool called Naker.Back that allowed you to create interactive backgrounds.
It worked really well on PH (Second) and we had a lot of articles relaying the tool.
Actually, 4 years later, it still has an average of 10 new users a day.
However, we did not manage to transform this community into paying users and eventually switch to something else.
