Creative tips on how to get early users for a gamified notes app?

Hi,
First of all congrats on your project!
To be honest there's no easy way of finding users.
Sure, you'll post on BetaList, IH, PH. And that will bring the initial users. for about 2 weeks website traffic will be okay. That it will come back to being flat.
Good results of SEO would bring downloads via the Web for your apps, but it takes time and is quite expensive if you outsource it.
Paid Ads might be a solution to slowly build MRR. Surely the main focus should be on iOS IMO.
I see that the app will be launched for both platforms at about the same time.
Surely, some acquisition will come organically if you do the basic ASO.
On average iOS bring 5 times more revenue than Android applications for the same product. So follow that rule.
I would keep the Android application as freemium as possible without hard-to-pass onboardings with upgrade plans.
For iOS I would concentrate on making a good onboarding-upgrade screen. You might find superwall.me helpful here as well.
iOS will definitely contribute from the start with organic downloads and trials started. I would expect that it will help you bring 20-50 downloads per day with 1-4 trials per day.
There's probably a ton of websites that offer top 10 lists of applications such as yours or similar.
The goals would be to target those websites and offer them to join your affiliate program. If they bring a customer you pay them out 80-100% of the money they brought.
The problem with Affiliate marketing for new products is expensive tracking. Appsflyer lets you do that on apps, but it's really expensive.
A solution would be to set up web payments. This will provide the chance to use less expensive tools like https://firstpromoter.com/ .
Hey Arnas,
This message packs a lot more insights than whole websites. Thanks a ton for this! :)
