Creators track views obsessively. But do they actually track profit?

I’ve been speaking to independent creators and one pattern keeps repeating:

They know:
• Views
• RPM
• Growth rate

But they don’t clearly know:
• Net income after fees
• Currency loss
• Brand deal payment timelines
• True monthly profit

There are tons of growth tools.
Very few financial clarity tools.

I’m building Creatorlytics around this gap.

Curious — if you’re a creator or building for creators, do you think “profit clarity” is a real pain or just a spreadsheet problem?

The tracking obsession is real. What I see with creators we work with: they'll celebrate 1M views but not realize the platform took $15K of their $75K monthly earnings.

The mental model shift to 'I run a business, not a channel' is huge. Revenue per subscriber, platform fees as a % of earnings, subscriber LTV - these are the numbers that matter.

We built Scrile Connect partly for this reason - to give creators/agencies their own platform where 100% of revenue is visible and owned. The dashboards feel very different when the money flows to you directly.
