Hey guys,
I launched a recipes app a few months ago and have been slowly improving the design. I'd love some feedback on what you think, whether it's easy to navigate, etc. Thank you :)

I don't use Apple products, so I'm just basing my feedback on your app page and the screenshots there. So far the design looks very clean and easily navigable.
A small feedback: since you're marketing it as a healthy meal planner, I would probably redesign the icon to reflect the message you're trying to convey. Also, adding in some vibrant colors would make the icon more 'palatable' and inviting to potential users.
Just my two cents as a graphic designer. Otherwise, good job!
Thank you, I recently "modernized" the app icon and might change it again in the future. :)
Very nice, clean and beautiful. Congrats!
Some off topic question: how do you plan to make your app stand out from the crowd?
Thanks :)
To make it stand out I've been focusing a lot on the design (lots of food apps look clunky), and going off user feedback. I've placed "leave feedback" buttons just about everywhere and this has allowed me to add features that users actually want.
With a small investment of time and a willingness to learn, you can create and manage your mobile site or application design using one of the best mobile app design software. Whether it’s for your business, blog, product, service, or just something totally random.
I loved UI/ UX ... I have a question... I’m working on a similar app, but with workout also I want to know where to buy or get such data, recipes and workouts... is there any place to license or get them or you do it yourself?
Thanks :)
I got the recipes from copyright free sources, cookbooks, personal recipes, etc. The nutrition information I get from entering all ingredients into a nutrition calculator. The images are all copyright free too. Using these sources I write them up myself. There are some APIs you can use like Spoonacular, but existing APIs don't have all the information I want for each recipe (difficulty score, health score, cuisine, etc), some are poorly written, and require an internet connection.
I think it looks great! Real clean, modern, and flowing design.
What did you use for the screenshots? I've used a few sites but looking to find the right one for https://trackmylift.app
Thanks!
You mean the app store screenshots? I designed them myself using Sketch. I just used an iPhone template and put screenshots of the app in use inside.
Awesome stuff! Cheers! Yeah I've done that as well for some of mine, was just looking some inspiration but thats awesome!
