CRM for Affiliates instead of Customers

I sell my product on a platform that offers affiliate capabilities. It does not provide any way of managing the affiliates other than creating and deleting them. I am not looking for a new affiliate service. What I am looking for is a platform that's like a CRM where I can manage my contact with prospective affiliates and also track our contacts after they become affiliates. Does anyone know of such a thing?

Thanks hackers!

A dev on here can build you something like that. It wouldn’t be too difficult if your sales platform had an API.

Oh yes! My struggle as a small business person is between tweaking a free CRM or paying to build out a custom solution. I think my goals could be achieved quite easily in Coda. My sales platform does have an API, but I don't know anything about APIs or how good theirs is.

Having been a relational database developer in a past life, there are two things that always raised an eyebrow:

        -Off-the-shelf-software, and
        -Cloud-based/browser-based solutions that involve data.

        Here's why:

-With off-the-shelf, you're always paying for bells and whistles that may or may not fit your business workflow, and you'll have to mold your workflow around their design.

-Cloud-based/Browser-based is great...except for your proprietary data. If a startup goes out of business, how do you extract your data? Sure, there are backups. Are any in a format that will be usable to you in a different ecosystem (CSV exports, notwithstanding). Data migration is often long, tedious and not 100% accurate.

I've built 400 or so databases over the last decade; at least half of them were CRM/CRM-variations. All of which were custom to the business and the business workflow; many of which included internal servers.

Your data is your data and data is most definitely the new gold.
