CRM for personal usage?

What if there would be an app that helps you to keep in touch with friends?
What makes it unique to currently existing social media platforms or messaging app? If it's what I think it is from the title, I had the idea years ago but talked myself out of it. That idea would actually make sense today because of how much social media "noise" that exists.

Really like the idea, been looking at this for myself, just because my memory is rubbish . There are a few overcomplicated ones out there, but really liked the look of gethippo.app, unfortunately that one and several others are only available on Apple. I just started developing a simple note taking app against my contacts for Android for my own use. Would love to hear what use cases you were thinking about!!
