Cross-workspace, cross-platform messaging between Slack, Discord and Microsoft Teams.

Hey guys! I'm looking for some feedback on an app that I'm building that allows you to chat with any other user on Slack, Discord, or Microsoft Teams right from the platform and workspace of your choice.

So if you're a professional who uses Slack and are constantly having to jump back and forth between windows to chat with different clients or colleagues, the idea is to allow you to stay in Slack and chat with people as if they're just part of your team.

How it works

• Install the Seamly app in your Slack workspace - https://getseamly.com/
• Go to the direct message thread with the app and click the 'Start a Conversation' button.
• Enter an email to send a chat invitation to, enter a new private channel name and click 'Chat'. This will open a new private channel and send an email invite.
• When the user accepts the invite in either Slack, Discord or Teams, you can start chatting with them just like they were part of your team, but they don't have access to anything else within your workspace.

A couple things to note

• Right now the Discord and Teams integrations are super basic, only allowing you to accept an invitation to chat, not allowing you to initiate one. We’ll be working on full fledged integrations soon, if in fact this is something our users want.
• The Teams app is actually currently under review so you can’t use it yet. We’re hoping to get it accepted into the store within the next week.

What I'm looking for in terms of feedback

If you can try it out and answer any of the following questions I'd be extremely grateful:

• Is the landing page clear about what the product is? Do you get it?
• Does this seem useful? Is the jumping back and forth between windows when communicating with people on different platforms a problem that you even want a solution for?
• Is it easy to use? Is the UI/UX intuitive?
• Would you pay $5 a month for the pro version?
• Are there any features you'd like to see added or changes made to the existing functionality?
