an actual description of your idea will be better than a random tech you heard someone telling you will be nice to use for some reason.
sounds like you tried to be useful but ended up sounding like every teenager in every internet forum ever.
if you don't know webrtc, you didn't need to comment, if you do know it, you can now also keep it to yourself, thanks. :)
webrtc is very specific tech, chances are you have no need of it (unless you require a peer-to-peer link, and even then clean sockets are better) and someone told you, you need to use it, hence "you heard someone telling you will be nice to use"
after all, you are looking for a CTO, and responsibility number 1 of the CTO, design the software and pick the tech stack.
Generally, things don't end well when people with little to no tech experience try to mess with tech requirements, it is even worse when the meddling comes from someone that thinks they "know tech".
