Hello,
I'm running an affiliate site (we feature products with affiliate links to the merchant) and I'm trying to find some benchmark numbers for what I should be going for when it comes to the clicks to the affiliate over the number of visits to my site.
My googling gets me CTRs for this varying from 1% to 30% and was wondering if some IH has any exp on this.
Hello
Depends on the Topic what the website applies for. Which is that?
Thanks for answering - the site is https://designodom.com ie furniture and other home and business space design products. I realize this may be too specific to know particular numbers but even a general number or a narrower range than what I've found would help.
Clear Now.
If we consider Visits to "Shop Now" Button Clicks, from e-commerce statistics if you have mostly organic traffic CTR should be about 12%. If you have paid traffic CTR can be 5%
BTW to increase the conversion rate, you can check Livecaller(a company which I represent) for free with all features, widget for communication to make people call or chat through the website: https://livecaller.io/register register here and try the trial for free, it should increase conversion rate. Stats show, that on all the e-commerces who have this widget, the conversion rate increased
Thanks for these metrics - do you have any sort of reference? Or are they perhaps based on your own experience with such sites?
livecaller looks polished (I think I've come up against it before) but it's unlikely people will want to call us for clarifications. I expect they will want to chat (for which we have the messenger chat app) or call the merchant (who needs to place livecaller themselves on their site).
Thanks again
There is no official metrics on this. It is based from practice and experience.
As for LiveCaller, it is on 25+ e-commerces and 40% of people choose to call and conversion rate after the call is much higher
Okey if any more questions feel free
