Curator: My beloved snow-child, born during the long winter

In the year 2021, I discovered the media form of long audio(podcasts, message sermons), and with the discovery also came some issues and challenges that I faced with listening, such as the fact the audio is more than an hour long, and that most of this audio is long and contains wisdom nuggets that would be nice to share with other people.
Searching the web, most audio players and even podcast players did not implement features that would help in highlighting and noting down interesting part of the audio, around that time I decided to learn React Native (RN), so I decided to build a personal project geared towards solving this and also to build my portfolio, building version 1 was brutal, I kept on making awful mistake, unaware of industry practices (does it really matter, the people that pay will not take a peak at your code you know), but the learning and problem-solving process learnt during that time was an immense tools and wonderful experience, I was obsessed with making it perfect and reaching industry standard, unbeknownst to me I was about to enter pre-product hell, there was always one design, one technical fix, one new shiny feature that if I didn't deploy the users wouldn't understand what I'm trying to achieve, just one more code, one more week, now it's 2 years and we are at v3, v1 and v2 were only shared with close friends, I didn't share it with the world because I was worried that this wouldn't make a billion dollar revenue (it still didn't).

In recent times, I've spent sometime thinking, how we as builder read tweets and watch youtube video and read Techcrunch and see this fancy company raise a shipload of money solving a need that's a vitamin and wonder to ourselves, I can do that. Now you're obsessed with raising money and unicorn status, but what about the business idea that will just make $10,000, $100,000, $1,000,000, $10,000,000? Are they not worth pursuing.
