Hi All,
I currently own https://stockmarketannouncements.com/ which periodically collects ASX (Australian Securities Exchange AKA the Australian stock market) announcements and saves them to a database which simply displays them in a table that has VERY basic search capabilities.
I am looking for individuals who may be interested in building a product that would be useful to traders, analysts, shareholders etc.
A couple of key problem statements I can immediately think of
If this is something you think you would be interested in partnering with and building a product around, let's connect!
Happy to collaborate.
I've worked in public and private capital markets for over 12 years. Built proprietary models for scoring companies in real-time based on their Financial Data. I agree with one of the comments that it would be exciting to focus on US capital markets.

I’d be interested in hearing more details about your plans for this. I work with and am familiar with the US market and would love to learn more about ASX and other markets internationally.
Interesting. Can you share anything about the current traction?
I have literally been dumping the data to the current URL without much else. The traction to date has come from google where a particular company is in hot water and the site has been a top result. I think there is value in even simply transcribing the PDF data into text data that can be better indexed and running basic ads.
You can scrape the announcements from ASX website easily, so you "sitting over" the announcements is not really any major assets or competitive advantage.
Some of the more advanced use cases you mention may be valuable, but you'd get 50x larger market if you'd implement them for NASDAQ and NYSE instead.
100% agreed, is this something you’re interested in partnering on?
No, sorry, I'm working full-time on my project (https://BugJail.com)
Okay, we’ll keep your feedback in mind as we build out the product. Much appreciated!
That's a great idea! Have you asked your readers how they would like to utilize this content?
I would do this first, before developing further. I would add one of those feedback widgets to the site that instantly asks each visitor that question. Or somehow collect emails and manally email everyone.
That is a great idea
