Claude Code hands down is the best. There was a time when I decided to skip all of the AI tools and build like a "real coder" but it turned out to be a costly mistake since the market doesn't care about your principles. Any particular reason why you didn't mention things like Zed or Antigravity? Also is the intention to compare IDE, CLI tools or models? I have been trying a bunch of them. My favorite IDE is Windsurf where I mostly use GPT 5.1-codex. For some tougher things I switch to bigger models.
