Customer feedback emails

Hey all, recently I've been planning out an idea that allows users to respond to feedback surveys in email, removing the need to go to an external site!
I've noticed that personally when I receive an email requesting feedback and I have to click a link I generally won't go through with it. Does anyone else do this?

Would you use this?

As one being asked for feedbacks, I'll will more likely answer to an email than going to a survey. Maybe it's because I think is so easy to use email for everyone (and why I'm working on https://yoop.blog/ but it's not the subject here).

However analyzing feedbacks through emails may be more difficult. But that's where your idea could have its value :)

Hey locim thanks for the response! Replying to the email is an interesting concept I hadn't thought of!

I was thinking more of an interactive email where the user can fill out input boxes/text areas and then submit it, never leaving their email application

Oh ok! I had not understood you went talking about embeded forms in emails :)

It could work but I think it's so rare and webmails could strip it that it's hard to tell whether people will use it. In any case, it's a nice idea you should think about.
