Customer say "don't have a project to use your app on right now."

Hi.

I'm a freelance web developer since a couple of years back and I've been building a tool to help me get organized feedback from my clients.

The tool gets installed on a website using a script tag and this allow my clients to leave feedback using screenshot and screen recording. The feedback ends up in my GitHub repo as an issue with the screenshot attached.

I have started to share this with people using direct outreach on LinkedIn, Twitter and Email. Lots of people say that they really like the tool which comes to my issue and question.

I have gotten a lot of people that say things like "This is a super cool project and I will be using it next time I have a project which I do not have right now".

I have a live demo without registering but I have also seen a lot of people registering but not create their first project. Probably because it:

1. Takes some effort to copy the script tag and install it on their site
2. They do not have a project right now where they need this tool so it will be bookedmarked for later and I'm afraid that they will forget about it.

How would you handle a situation like this where my customer might not need the tool right now but will need it in say one month. I want to get them registered somehow so I get their email address and can keep "reminding" them of the tool.

Maybe the live demo is actually keeping people from registering and trying out themselves? I like the live demo though because it's an easy way to show the tool.
