We just launched an experimental project that enables companies to automate part of their talent acquisition process.
Essentially, companies looking to hire a full-time Developers submit 3-5 profiles 'lookalike' profiles that match the skill set they are trying to hire. We then automate the process of identifying similar skill sets, reaching out to those candidates, presenting the opportunity, and then introducing all interested candidates to the company.

Our goal for pricing is a monthly subscription (instead of recruitment agencies that charge 15%-20% of the salary.)
To generate interest, I proactively sourced 2-3 candidates for a company and sent the resume directly - FOR FREE - no ask. The hiring manager responded saying we can either sign an agreement for 15% (which would end up being over $20,000), otherwise don't send candidates. But they weren't willing to try our new subscription pricing model (because it's not the norm).
So ... they were skeptical to entertain a free offering even though he liked the candidates. And we don't want to pursue traditional fee-based pricing. Any recommendations?
Are there any other companies trying a subscription model for recruitment?!If not, there's probably a good reason why. I must admit I don't see the benefits of it to a hirer? Then again this is just one knockback, keep trying to find out what the underlying objections are The idea for your skills-matching service is cool though.
There are recruitment platforms that run on a subscription but at a much higher price point (still ends up being close to 10% per hire) - we are positioning ourselves closer to the price point of a job board.
Main issue with recruitment agencies / existing recruitment platforms = price
Main issue with job boards = lack of quality applicants
Ok makes sense. I'd keep hustling then until you have more qual feedback to go off.
