I started building AI Engineer Interview Prep because I kept seeing the same pattern: AI engineering interviews are no longer just “know ML” or “know system design.”

They now expect you to explain things like RAG, agents, evals, tool use, latency, cost, observability, hallucination mitigation, and production tradeoffs — clearly, under time pressure, like you have actually built these systems before.

So I built the first version of aiengprep.com around one simple idea: help engineers practice the way real AI engineering interviews actually feel.

The product now has structured interview playbooks & cheatsheets, and a mock interview mode. You can speak your answer, get pushed like a real interview, and then see where your answer was strong, vague, too verbose, or missing important system design points.

I don’t want this to become another giant AI-generated article site. The goal is smaller and sharper: practical playbooks, reusable frameworks, and mock interviews that help you sound clear, senior, and production-minded.

The first version is live now. It is still early, but that is the point of building in public. I want to keep improving it based on what actually helps people prepare, not what looks impressive on a landing page.
