Daily Marketing/Sales Habit

From conversations here, I see I'm not the only one struggling with this. As a developer, its easy to escape into programming. Most of the time, what you should really be doing is talking to customers, sales, and marketing.

I'm going to start combating this by setting a daily habit.

A daily goal of doing something X times, like "make 3 cold calls today". This is a good way because you can track it, increase X over time as you get more comfortable.

It can be bad because sometimes doing it X times doesn't make sense. Your mind will tricks about it not being needed anymore to get away from doing it.

A time based goal like, "work on sales for an hour today". This is good when you don't know what to work on. You just need to do it and start figuring it out. The tradeoff is that its easy to waste this time if your mind is really trying to avoid the task.

    Hey,
I saw on another post you're open to doing some freelance work - I'm looking to hire someone to help build an MVP and validate it. Could be a fun case study on partnering up, especially if building in public.

How can I contact you? :D

P.s. Apologies for what looks like an absolutely quiet profile - lost access to my old one ages ago and just made a new one instead.
