I worked as a web development consultant for a couple of years, and one problem that I've always come across is the difficulty of organisation and getting across all of the tools that are used for every project/business. You have to be across communication tools (Slack, email, etc.), Kanban boards for project management, and code repositories if you're an engineer. Also, it normally takes a day or so to get settled with all these tools.
I've come across Basecamp or Asana but most are just generally the same per project or team. My idea is possibly having a "personal" dashboard if you will, where you get notifications for all the tools you need to be across on. If you're managing a team however, you can create several individual dashboards that are tailored to each person and their position.
Thoughts?
Hi Sidney,
I think (no guarantee though :-) I heard Sam Parr asking for something like this in some of their earlier podcasts. You might want to check out a few of early discussions. I think there is a market need here for the right size of company.

Hi Sidney,
I love the thought - and I know of a few tools in that general space - e.g. https://tryshift.com/
An interesting question is why haven't you hear of them?
Not in the blame version of the question but why are they failing to reach you - the target audience?
Is their solution wrong?
Is their marketing channel/messaging crappy?
If I were you, I'd carefully map out that space, find out how much money is actually spent their by customers, and try to think if you can carve out something in that market bringing a different value proposition.
Hope this helps,
Jonathan
