Data Bubbles
Hello everyone,
I want to show you data-bubble (https://data-bubbles.it), a service which I've built in my spare time in the last 3 weeks.
The service allows a user to share temporary text or image with others; the data is reachable by URL or API REST and it is available for 10 minutes or until a user retrieves it.
At now only the free plan is available, I'm still working on the user registration to furnish the payment version too.
I want to ask you what you think about the service and some feedback to improve it.

I like the image you used, the analogy with a bubble! As for the idea...of course I like it, I have a project similar to this in my todo list 😂 (not exactly like yours, but with the same basic functionality...and mind you, there are many projects like this out there)

I'm aware that exists many project like this one but it is also true that for every kind of service may exists many products which implements it (think about whatsapp, database, store Key values etc).
Probably this one will not have success but building it Is fun and I'm learning different things :).
And I hope u'll build your version :)

I think you can improve this by letting you add media files (photos, videos)

that feature is already in the TODO list but thanks you for you'd advice, it confirms that the service needs that feature.
Today I've added the support to images.
At now the max size is 1kbyte but I'll probably increase it.
I'm not technical so don't understand it for sure. Can you dumb it down for me?

the service allows sharing text with other people.
If you go to "try me" page you can write down something and then create a "bubble". When you create it the system returns a URL (like website address) that you can share with someone. Using that URL anyone can retrieve the text you wrote.
The data vanish after 10 minutes or if someone retrieves it.
