Data Engineering Newsletter - Thoughts?
Hi Indiehackers,
I am a Data Engineer at a data science company with 500+ people segregated amongst few different teams.
Though I have been hired here as a "Data Scientist", I have been contributing to the engineering part tremendously and I have fallen in love with it.
As I could see there is a dearth in data engineering "go to" places and I just want to take a shot at creating a newsletter for different aspects and trends and start exposing the internals of my work and how we are making it possible to route massive amounts of data through an on premise architecture.
As this is really new to me, please critic me or correct me if I am wrong. I just want people with data background to have an all round experience as 90% value lies in engineering it.

I like that you are working in the field and want to start a newsletter because being in the industry would give you great perspective.
Do you plan on putting it together just yourself?
Thank you mjgs, No I am looking for collaborators, I am wanting this to be a wholesome guide specifically from an industry perspective.. Please ping me if you are interested..

Sounds good, what are the plans for monetizing such Newsletter?
Not yet Romiva. I think I would like to test it first and collaborate with people who are in the same field. This is to just help my peers find a direction (for now)..

I agree. I have searched for a few newsletters online and they are more or less "structured".
Please correct me if I am wrong and would be happy if you can point me to some other than "data engineering weekly".
This newsletter is completely from my failures and mishaps - which includes a variety of problems we have faced as a team.
Finding some right solutions took us days, considering the cardinality and the volume of data and most of the medium articles and blogs makes it sound easy..
