I'm starting a series on average salaries of different IT positions.
I just published my second one which is the "Data Scientist Salary 2021". It shows average pay in USA with variance based on experience, top cities, best and worst states.
It also defines the job duties and shows most likely career path. All within 1 minute.

Let me know if you think these have any value. Or if I should change the format since I have several more outlined which I hope to publish during the next week.

Thanks for the comment.
I’m experimenting with the #shorts YouTube format which requires they be less than 60 seconds. That’s why it’s so fast and crammed. I figure for those that want the information they can pause on the areas of interest.
Not Glassdoor, all this data is from indeed.com.
I kind of feel like many people want the minimized shortest version possible. Do you think people would really spend 4 or 5 minutes watching a detailed review?
I have no idea why this video was flagged. I’ve requested an appeal but still waiting for response.

Again, thanks for the sincere and thoughtful insight.
You're absolutely right. I was buying into the YT shorts craze and societal recommendation regarding shorter attention spans which does not really apply to programmers.
I do want to exploit the YouTube looser algorithm to have shorts visible and increase traffic. That's an opportunity to build my YouTube channel which I don't want to miss. But there needs to be a better, higher quality and more-value way to do so. I'll definitely change the format of future videos. Sincerely, thanks for your input!
