Day 1 of building in public

Hi - I am spending a few months in Tokyo on a sabbatical and building a mobile wellness app. I am a full stack developer with a background in infosec and go-to-market, but I have not been able to find a technical co-founder at this early stage. I have a few people wanting to work with me once I am on TestFlight but I want to work with someone NOW. I was recommended to document my daily journey. I have a c-corp registered in the US and want to make a serious business out of this app.

I've spent the past few days working on building out a spec for a knowledge graph recommender system. It will power a flashcard system that will be a daily guide for users trying to accomplish fitness, nutrition, wellness, and recovery goals. I previously built an MVP and pitched at a few events in Berlin and got the feedback that the UI needed to change - so I transitioned to a flashcard + widget system.
