I launched Meridian Path a few weeks ago and spent most of that time just getting the technical pieces in place — Stripe, DNS, email, the basics. Today was the first day I actually focused on getting it in front of people.
Here's what I did today:

Set up directory listings on SaaSHub and Indie Hackers
Updated every profile I have with the product link
Meridian Path is a goal-based life planning app I built for myself — I needed one place that connected my daily spending and habits to a specific long-term goal with a real target date. Freemium, $9/month for premium. Zero paid marketing, zero ad budget.
Revenue right now: $0. That's fine. Today was about planting seeds.
If anyone's been through the "first users" phase of a solo SaaS with no audience, I'd love to know what actually moved the needle for you.
The thing that jumps out to me is that all of those activities can generate attention without necessarily telling you why someone would eventually pay.
That's what makes the first-user phase tricky.
The same early signal can support several very different stories about what's actually working.
That's a fair challenge. The activities I listed are visibility moves, not conversion validation — I know the difference. The real signal I'm watching for is whether anyone who lands on the app creates a goal and comes back. Return visits from free users tell me more about pay intent than signup numbers do. If I see that pattern, I'll start having direct conversations to understand what's missing between "this is useful" and "I'll pay for this."
What's interesting is that you've already started choosing which signals deserve your trust and which don't.
That's usually where things get more consequential than they first appear.
Happy to share the fuller thought if useful — just drop your email.
Absolutely, I would love the constructive feedback and guidance into this new territory.
