Yesterday I finalized my flashcard creation scripts and went back to my knowledge graph specs to see how I should proceed.
I need to feed my different flashcards and features to create nodes and relationship for my knowledge graph. I want to get a v0.1 spec done today and ingest my cards into the knowledge graph.
In the evening I had a conversation with an engineer from the UK who is on the same discord server as me. These conversations of 'hey let's work together / I have an app, maybe you are interested' are getting easier to have. I've been complaining about not finding a technical founder and having to pay people when I have no money - but I see a light at the end of the tunnel given that I will ship soon and I am having more of these conversations with other engineers.
The person I spoke to yesterday said something I knew but having him say it tells me that I can also say it to other with confidence. Something along the lines of equity ensuring that all team members are aligned. Thats obvious but with some confidence, I think you can convince others who are trying to join.
We agreed that I will demo the app for him and pay him for a project. If it works out then we can talk about equity.
Another point: I met a few people at the hackathon I was at over the weekend. I reached out to all of them to have similar conversations. I am really enjoying these conversations and they have helped me see my potential future role. I would like to get away from coding and focus more on the 'business side' - something people always say. But I also want to continue on the talent/hiring topic. I see myself as never stopping the recruiting process for the company and I think this will really help us in the long term.
P.S. (picture) - it's crazy how many action figures you find here in Tokyo. Had I seen this figure as a kid I would have gone crazy - it's from some DBZ heroes alternate universe but the dude looks sick. I can't even tell who the character is.
