Day 17 - Back in Tokyo

Finally back and I have been working all morning. Spec is close to done - just polishing it up. If I have time this evening, I think I can start implementing it but tomorrow is a more realistic option.

For my first iteration of the recommender system I settled on two basic scenarios: 1. removing known concepts from users future progression plan and 2. removing/swapping goals that a user is not engaging with.

I also mapped out some additional scenarios that I want to test out after I feel comfortable with the two scenarios above. But I think the groundwork I prepared for my first two scenarios will be a strong foundation for future scenarios.

Later today I am meeting with three different people: one is a group of two students in Tokyo that saw me present at the hackathon the other weekend and were looking for a project to work on and the other is another student from the UK that also wants something more serious to work on. I will demo my app and present them with some projects that I would like their help with: 1. creating a posture/balance feature using a vision model for mobile and 2. a mindfulness/meditation module that helps users reset during the day.

This weekend I am participating in a voice hackathon where we get to use LiveKit. I would like to work on a reflection feature for my app but I see the value in just working on a good team and learning from other individuals.

P.S. I was serious yesterday about working on my computer on the train back to Tokyo. Why did I do this? Because I saw someone else do it too!
