Day 2 was all about adding more social media and audience research. Here is the video update -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__sjhSE1pjY
Day 1 video was published only on Youtube. And I thought, why not repost it?
I am an introvert and hadn't used social media too much. On Instagram I have less than 100 followers and I know each of them personally. On Facebook I have 7 friends, etc.. You get the point.
However, from my Corporate career years ago on Linkedin I actually have more than 9000 Connections. And my fear about posting there was that each and every one of them will now be seeing a first update from me in years. And it will not even be about my business that I am running now, but about me starting to build an app.
So whats the right thing to do here? F*ck it. Overcame myself and published it everywhere. Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Linkedin, X and even Snapchat.
And in addition I wrote a post in IndieHackers (just like this one today), Indie App Accelerator Skool , WIP, Letz Scale Skool, Ramen Club Slack and Starter Story Slack. Plus launched a newsletter via Kit.
Sounds too much? I think so, but I want to see which social channel I like te best, which one has best traction, etc. And if I do it right it should take 30 min per day maximum.
Now it was time to talk to my audience / future customers.
I decided to ask what helps people to solve their stress or lower it.
My first stop was reddit /r/Entrepreneur and my first post got immediately blocked (too low Karma points).
Paid communities where I am a member answered a tiny bit. So now it was time for the big guns...
The obvious next place was my own brain, friends and family.
Got some good insights, so on Day 3 I will be thinking about the features that my app needs based on the answers that I got.
Have an awesome day and thanks for following along š„
P.S. Feel free to join my newsletter - https://email.nabutovskis.com and be the first one to get the app once its ready.
Alright, here is how I manage stress currently. I visit communities like this one to re-orient my expectations instead of the constant success stories on influencer-driven platforms like X.
that's awesome. thanks a lot for sharing @bootflytech
