Day 2 of Growing a Twitter Account — my thoughts

Hey everyone,

First time IndieHacker and first time making a Twitter account.

While working on buust.io I realized how little I knew about marketing and user acquisition. I’ve been trying to grow a newsletter sharing stuff I’ve learned from interviews with other successful IndieHackers, and that opened my eyes to how beneficial twitter can be.

Here’s where I’m at on day 2:
Followers: 8
Following: 63
Tweets: 78

What I’ve Done:

• I tried to follow people with similar amount of followers (1-500) and similar content
• I try to be the first 3 comments for smaller accounts (I should probably start commenting under bigger accounts too)
• I haven’t posted much of my own, just a few thoughts here and there

I know I’m very early in the journey. Anyone have any suggestions of things to do or successful IndieHackers to follow? I really appreciate it!
