for the past many days, I had been trying to earn some karma on r/macapps.
and while i planned to re-launch on 5th, i was afraid i don't know enough about launching on reddit and might run into issues last minute.
so, i decided to launch a day early on reddit to check for any errors on my part.
and my assumption was right, my post got rejected even though i had adhered to all the rules. turns out i hadn't clicked a "read rules" button.
but since i was a day early, i got to find out the error, and posted again. this time it went through without any hiccups.
it started at #13 post in that sub-reddit and has slowly climbed to #8
the one thing i am constantly seeing is a lot of downvotes for no reason. i'll get a few upvotes then someone will come and downvote it. not sure what anyone gains by doing it, but would love to find out what the incentive is. or maybe just crab behaviour?
regardless, it's something new i learnt today. launching everywhere else tomorrow.
here's the reddit post btw: https://www.reddit.com/r/macapps/comments/1t3azq8/reverscan_visual_file_search_for_mac_screenshots/
