Hey builders,
Big UX insight today:
If the first step feels like effort, users don’t start.
If it feels like a 10-second action, they do.
Now redesigning Unjam to generate micro-steps instead of general steps.
Would love feedback:

That 10-second insight is spot on — reducing friction at the first step is underrated.
Quick thought: are you planning to keep this on a subdomain for now, or eventually move it to a standalone brand/domain?
Feels like something that could benefit from a stronger identity as it grows.
That’s a really good point.
Right now I’m keeping it on a simple domain while I focus on refining the core experience and making sure it actually helps people start.
But long term, I do see it becoming a standalone brand with a stronger identity once the product and problem fit are solid.
Trying to earn that step first instead of rushing it.
Makes sense — earning it first is the right move.
Just one thing to keep in mind though:
the name/identity often shapes how people perceive the product even before PMF is fully locked.
If it already starts getting traction, switching later becomes harder than expected.
Not saying rush it — but worth thinking slightly ahead on that layer.
Happy to share a few directions if you explore it.
