Day 4, 0 Signups. Is my H1 unclear?

I launched PingSLA this week and have had zero conversions.

I'm trying to figure out if it's a traffic problem or a messaging problem.

My H1 is: "API uptime, SSL, SLA monitoring SaaS."

Is that too technical? Or too generic?

I'm targeting bootstrapped SaaS founders. If you have 30 seconds, could you glance at the landing page and tell me the first reason you wouldn't sign up?

Day 4 with zero signups usually means one of two things:

    1. Traffic problem — not enough eyeballs. Where are you promoting? If just IH + a few tweets, that's probably <100 visitors.

    2. ICP mismatch — the people seeing it aren't the people who need it.

Your H1 isn't unclear, it's just feature-focused ("API uptime, SSL, SLA monitoring"). Try flipping it to outcome-focused: "Never miss an SLA breach again" or "Know the moment your API goes down."

But more importantly: where do "bootstrapped SaaS founders" who need SLA monitoring actually hang out? It's not generic founder communities — it's DevOps Slack channels, r/selfhosted, HN "Ask" threads about monitoring, and people complaining about Pingdom pricing on X.

I've been doing customer discovery briefs for pre-PMF founders — basically mapping where your specific ICP hangs out and what they complain about. Happy to put one together for PingSLA if you want to see what that looks like.

This is painfully accurate. You nailed the 'Engineer's Curse' — I defaulted to listing specs (SSL, API) because that's what I look for, but I see why it fails as a hook.

'Never miss an SLA breach' is 10x stronger. I’m actually redesigning the landing page this weekend to pivot exactly towards that 'outcome' focus.

regarding the brief: I would 100% take you up on that. I've been shouting into the void of generic founder lists, so mapping out specific DevOps/Self-hosted spaces would be a massive help. Let me know how to get that.

Great! I'll put together a brief focused on DevOps/self-hosted monitoring spaces — where the Pingdom-frustrated crowd hangs out, what language they use when complaining, and specific threads worth engaging.
