Hey everyone,
Lately I’ve been thinking about how unfinished tasks behave a lot like open tabs in the brain.
Even when you stop actively working, part of your attention still stays attached to unresolved things:
unfinished tasks,
decisions,
messages,
ideas,
things you keep meaning to get back to.
I think that’s why people can feel mentally exhausted before the day even properly starts.
Not necessarily because they’re doing too much physically —
but because their mind never fully closes loops.
Now trying to think more deeply about how Unjam can reduce that persistent background cognitive load instead of just helping people “do more.”
Feels like a much more important layer than traditional productivity advice.
