Deciding what feature to build next is now easy for me

If you like me and have created a SaaS that has some active users (I had 30 lol) AND if you’re clicked the title then you’re also stuck deciding what feature to build next. Should I build mobile app? Should I improve UX? Should I focus on bug fixes?

What I tried

In the beginning I was just building what I thought is the right thing but it’s rarely the case. Usually you just build stuff that no one cares about lol. So I decided to ask my users what they want. But as it turned out it’s not an easy task to do. No one replied to my emails, 2 people reached me out via feedback form and my discord server is still empty.

Solution

The problem was reaching out to my users. I needed a channel to do it, and then I realized I already had it - my website. The users are already there. All I had to do was figure out how to get to them. So I thought, why not use something like a Discord server but right on my website?

I use it for asking people what feature to build next via polls. Then when feature is shipped I send them message that they can try it. I then see people reactions so it’s pretty cool. I’m planning to add commenting so I can actually discuss people’s needs and problems but need to solve moderation problem first.
