Demand-based Pricing for Subscriptions

A question that the creator of any new product faces is how to price their product. For SaaS products, this usually means a monthly subscription fee. Is it possible to design a system that dynamically decides pricing based on demand? Basically, answer the question of “how do we price this product?” with “how much people are willing to pay”. Here’s a simulator which tries to simulate a tiered patronage system (like Patreon) but with dynamic pricing so that a creator can identify their biggest fans by ranking them.
