DemoDash turns a real product URL into a brand-matched demo dashboard, plus a full launch kit. One input, one output, no design work on your end.
HOW IT WORKS
Paste your URL. DemoDash scrapes your actual live site and pulls three real signals:
- Logo: detected from your site directly
- Brand colors: read from your theme-color meta tag, your OG image, or your favicon, whichever gives a real, usable signal, then built into a full harmonized palette (primary, accent, surface, text, muted), not just one swatch
- Typeface (shipped this week): detected from your site's actual font declarations and approximated to the closest matching Google Font, so the demo doesn't just look brand-colored, it feels typographically closer to your real product too
Then it classifies what your product actually is, a CRM, a support tool, an e-commerce store, a dev/API platform, a billing tool, an analytics tool, a social tool, and picks from a library of 14 dashboard templates built for that category. Generic templates for generic products was a real bug I found and fixed this week, so this part now actually works the way it was always supposed to.
The dashboard generates in about a second, seeded with realistic sample data shaped like your real product's actual metrics and activity, not random placeholder numbers.
WHAT'S EDITABLE
Everything in the generated dashboard is editable in place, not just the main view. Every sidebar section (payments, billing, customers, reports, settings, whatever nav items your template has) has real, relevant, editable content, not dead clicks. Click any number, label, or panel title and change it to your real data.
THE LAUNCH KIT
Every demo comes with a full asset set, not just the dashboard itself:
- A hosted, shareable demo link
- OG and social share cards, sized for X and Instagram
- Real browser and full-page screenshots of your actual site
- An AI-directed 3D product film: camera movement, depth, a genuinely cinematic look, generated automatically from the demo itself, no screenshot to prepare, no upload, no motion designer
FREE VS PRO
Free: generate a demo, see it live, share the link. Watermarked, expires after 48 hours. Enough to actually judge whether it fits before deciding anything.
Pro ($29 once or $9/month): the demo becomes permanent, the watermark comes off, the full editor unlocks, and you can actually download the kit, site shots, cards, and video, as real files you can use elsewhere. There's no path today where someone generates a demo and walks away with usable files without upgrading, that gate was a deliberate design choice, not an oversight.
WHO IT'S FOR
Founders and builders who already have a live product or landing page and need something polished, fast, for an investor, a client, or a launch audience. Not for people starting from just an idea with nothing built yet, and not a fit if what you actually need is an analytics platform, an interactive product-tour builder, or a general-purpose design tool. DemoDash does one thing: URL in, demo and launch kit out.
This is awesome. It actually perfectly describes a heachache I’ve been dealing with a live project I'm running called Trackly.
We track user churn and behavioral changes over time, but because the real dashboard deals with live, sensitive user data, creating a clean presentation-ready demo for launches or landing pages is a massive chore. There's definitely a huge gap between a 'working product' and a 'launch-ready' showcase. Excited to see how this develops.
Hey, just wanted to say — your product looks really impressive. It feels useful, clean, and like something that can actually help people solve a real problem.
I’m building Everyday Tiny Tools — a marketplace for small useful web tools, mini apps, calculators, generators, AI tools, productivity helpers, and simple utilities.
The idea is to give independent creators a real place to showcase their tools, get discovered, and maybe even earn from them.
If you’ve built something small and useful, I’d love to invite you to list it here: EverydayTinyTools.com
Tools can be listed as free, or as a simple one-time purchase through the platform.
And if you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime: nuchem@lightboltlab.com
Really like what you’re building — wishing you a lot of success with it.
Hey, I'm building this solo, still early. Built it after seeing how much time founders (myself included) waste manually mocking up a dashboard every time they need something polished for a pitch or a launch, then the real product already exists, it's just not demo-ready looking.
If you've got a live product, genuinely curious what happens when you paste your own URL in. Tell me what breaks, what template feels wrong for your category, or what's missing, that feedback is worth more to me right now than anything else.
The real gap you’re solving isn’t demo creation—it’s the mismatch between “working product” and “presentation-ready product.”
Most founders don’t lack dashboards, they lack something that translates existing reality into something that can survive a pitch context without hours of manual redesign. The interesting edge case will be what happens when the product structure doesn’t fit any of your predefined categories.
