I wanted to practice my design skills but I always got caught up in "what" the subject of my design should be and "how" good or complete it should be. It was taking too much time just to get started.
This was bad for a number of reasons, but ultimately I'm trying to balance my creative and consumptive habits so I realized shorter and more frequent iterations would help kickstart things. Also, by having some sort of framework for helping you pick a subject overcomes the mental burden of always thinking of a muse.
Here's an ongoing Daily Design Challenge where I'll go from A-Z designing whatever I feel like.
Feel free to critique, follow along, or share what you do to keep your design skills sharp!
