Quick Backdrop
So at Wepala we always have ideas. So many in fact we've formed our own Product Team and adopted/adapted the Design Sprint Process to help test the viability of our ideas. It usually ends with a scrappy mockup at the end which we show to potential users.
On the tech side, we've built this incredible platform that allows you to quickly build out API's - WeOS. It's free, open-source and built on Go. If you're a developer go check it out.
Putting 2 and 2 Together
To make Design Sprints more real, we've started pushing ourselves to make functional demo's using WeOS and it has been great! In less than 2 weeks we're able to flesh out an idea, choose an area of focus and dish out a functional demo that users can play with and give real feedback! We're talking about putting an app in the Playstore and AppStore, having functional API's interact with user inputs and genuine user feedback in an incredibly short space of time.
The Next Step
How do we monetize what we do? Would entrepreneurs jump at getting a well thought out, functional MVP in 2 weeks? Imagine buying a Design Sprint knowing that at the end of two weeks you have something to show friends and even investors what your idea could be.
I think what we have is pretty amazing but I know this group can help put things into perspective so looking forward to feedback and advice.
