Designers looking for their next job/gig: Would you join this community?

I'm happy to discover IH and this is my first post so please be kind and critical.

Here's the pitch:

Designer Hired is a community of designers with one thing in mind: getting hired. Through the community Discord server and live virtual events (like webinars and AMA's), designers will get tips and hacks on interviews, resumes, portfolios, and skill-building that will land them their next job/gig.

• The community's concept: what do you think?
• What's missing in the web copy to make the community more appealing?
• How do you feel about using Discord as the main community platform?
