Developer looking for side projects

Hi, I'm a full stack developer with 5 years experience. I mainly work with Python/Django/Flask, and am currently doing so in my day job. I'm looking for side projects to work on in some of my down time. I like programming especially on meaningful projects I believe in, but I've never been good at coming up with ideas.

    Hi Greg,

Joining the Halloween Co-founder speed dating event this Friday is the fastest way to find someone instead of individually replying to all of the email based offers below. At the moment, there is a shortage of tech co-founders. https://www.indiehackers.com/post/co-founder-halloween-virtual-speed-dating-dbc6247f13

Just remember: "ideas are cheap, execution is everything" and "talk is cheap, show me the code".

Hey Greg! You will most certaintly find lots of interesting projects here. I'm building barter better, a platform where you give stuff to get stuff. Bartering is the oldest form of commerce but it's not top of mind and difficult to do easily. I'm aiming to fix that and make bartering part of mainstream economic activity. Happy to chat more if you're interested danika at barterbetter.co.

Hi Greg! I have 2 projects that I've built using no-code tools to validate whether or not they need more investment like a full fledged site. What kind of projects are you interested in? Happy to chat about either of my projects!

hi @gregmccoy I'm the founder of Pocket Plan. If you're interested in helping people overcome their primary stressor in life, finances, then we should talk.

Pocket Plan has an MVP and strategy to grow. We're looking for a technical co-founder who can help launch our app and integrate APIs as we move into our next fundraising round.

Please message me if you're interested [email protected]

    Hey @gregmccoy

You, my friend, is what I like to call a hot commodity! There are tons of ideas out there, and little execution on them.

I would love to pitch you on an idea in the virtual assistant / freelance space. Shoot me an email and I’ll give you a 15 minute pitch on the idea to see if we might be a fit. Email in profile.

    Thanks for the time!

    Hello @gregmccoy ,

Thank your for reaching us, currently I am working on an MVP in the entertainment/social/city-life industry (no deadline only ETA, when the government regulations regarding COVID-19 will relax and try to stimulate this part of the economy)

I was surprised to see others in this community that know the potential of Django or other python related frameworks. Keep up the good work!

If you have any questions or queries then please feel free to drop me an email: bogdan.dsergiu [at] gmail [dot] com .

Thank you for your attention and consideration!
