Developing subscription billing is the last thing you will do on your own

After 6 long months of hard work on the product and developing its recognition.
We have launched our product and you can try it out, test it on your own cases.

What's our huge advantage is that we take into account many details that our big competitors didn't. Our MVP isn't very different from competitors' products, but once we get past MVP we'll focus on developing tools that will attract and retain as many customers for your SaaS startup/business as possible.

By the way, Rainex allows you to get paid on time due to a simplified system of creating and managing subscriptions, notifications, and invoices. Using our system you can easily sell software products all over the world. Payments are always something interesting, so we have enough space to show our potential.

We’ve made a payment and subscription management solution, so any SaaS startup or business can use Rainex with or without full integration.

With Rainex, it's easy to set up rate logic for recurring payments:

🔸 trial period;
🔸 debit frequency;
🔸 addons;
🔸 charges;
🔸 notifications;
🔸 holiday or promotional rates and much more.

How it all began: I used to work in a company that sold a cloud accounting system for small and medium-sized businesses. I am from the Ukraine. Also the last project I worked with my colleagues was a pay-as-you-go billing system. Everything was going well until the war. In consequence we got away with our billing and decided to go to the US and European markets. Which became an unreal challenge for us.

The first thing Ukrainians face while entering a foreign market is the lack of English practice and, in general, the language barrier. It becomes difficult to communicate with people, to formulate thoughts so that you are understood. But this is a stage that you have to overcome in order to get your second breath.

The second of course is the search and validation of the problem we are solving, first we went probably the most thorny way - this is:

🟠 cold outreach via email, a way that absolutely did not work.
🟠 cold calls to just talk to people about their problems (barely speaking English).
🟠 my team and I decided to move on, and start using LinkedIn with its Sales Navigator.

Almost no one responded, or agreed to give feedback - to help validate our idea.
So, feel free to write it down in comments or on the website: rainex.io

By then, we understood that there were Stripe Billing, ChargeBee, Recurly, and other payment systems and providers that the user could already purchase and start using. The only thing we could be 100% competitive was the price of the service, which is not a value proposition at all. But this actually overrode the validation of the idea, the service is necessary since there were so many competitors.

So we almost immediately switched to a strategy of finding early adopters or potential clients. I personally wanted to understand how to do it quickly and quality - because I already wanted to feel all this high, when you solve the problems of other people, especially the problems of entire projects.

We found about a dozen early adopters, where? In Ukraine, of course. Now due to the circumstances the Ukrainian business and startup community has started to develop actively. Entering a foreign market has become not a looming goal, but a necessity for everyone, and then the question of accepting payments came up. Yes, it was almost a success. Then we started actively using platforms like Reddit and chats on Telegram. This began to work and brought the first results. The first sources of leads for us were found.

🔶 The first thing I would advise aspiring startups and product developers is to never give up, because no matter how you spin this will be a crash test for you and your team. Being on the lookout for early adapters, I've come across some very strange yet vital posts on Hacker News many times about how people were losing almost everything they didn't even have a place to live. Because they put a piece of their lives into their startup. Remember, a startup can eat you up, so just don't let it do that.

🔶 The second is one of the most important things, by the way, you don't have to do the maximum or the minimum, you have to look for the golden mean in everything. Whether it's an advertising budget, or a potential client. You don't have to spend it all at once, and you don't have to go overboard or under pressure. In general, we started without any advertising budget.

🔶 The third thing is that a ton of resources will already tell you how many opportunities there are for lead generation and finding early clients. Of course, pay attention (I'll leave one of the resources here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bex5fn663rk63go/acquisition_channels_consistently_working.pdf) and try to find the resource where your target audience is hanging out. For example, if you understand that you can run a YouTube channel, and it can potentially get you the results you need, then try making videos on YouTube - but you can also make videos on Instagram, or TikTok, you can try Vimeo, it depends on what works best for you. The challenge is to figure out where the lair of the right leads for you is.

🔶 Not everyone wants to communicate with you via video, but still try to organize meetings. So you have a better chance to understand what the person needs, what he is struggling with, and in the end get into his problem. And then it's much easier to find a common language with him, so that the foundation of trust that has been laid over the long term begins to work for you.

You can already apply on our website (https://rainex.io/) and take advantage of the product for free for a year starting February 10, 2023.
