Development agency is it worth it?

We are a team of 4
3 of us just graduated as computer engineers ( 2 developpers +1 designer)
And the last one is a marketing expert and communications .
After working as freelacers and work for too many companies either as interships or real paid projects
We decided to build a developing agency where we will provide any service related to create or assess a web site
Now we finished the making of our landing page , we bought the domain name also we started contacting other angencies in order to understand how thinks work
We still didnt put a business model also no advertisement
What advice can you give us any suggestions before lanching ?
Hi, I have a small development agency (3 of us in total).
Here is some advice that I can give to you:
Always write a feature list and development plan (it's a pain in the a** but it will pay off). Usually, clients will request from you to build them a small house but that can fast convert to a smart home villa. And they will claim you promised them all features that they requested during development.
Be careful with choosing clients, people that promise that they will make you millions and buy you Ferrari, but they are just startup with a lack of funding they will drain you! (They will request more features and but they will not have money to pay for them)
A lot of project needs to be maintained so they never end be sure to charge SLA for all maintenance.
When you are projecting time and cost always multiple that by (*2) and then when new feature requests come some of them can be calculated in that price
If you feel that you are working more than others in the team be open and tell them in front how you feel.
For small teams it's really important that you are good friends too because everything is more fun that way.

It depends, but I can tell you how we do it. And that's connections connections connections once you are surrounded by people that are in internet marketing, apps, etc... projects find you you don't even look for them...
But I started on elance (that's today upwork) platforms like this are filled with copy/paster resumes, and my approach was I would apply for lest jobs but with quality content where I would describe how I would solve the problem and why I am the best to do it... It worked like a charm
