DevRel City - help your DevRel team achieve more

Hi All,

For the past few months, my team and I worked on something aimed at helping companies that received cuts to their DevRel budgets.

The aim of DevRel City is to provide access to a curated set of resources for thriving developer communities. The list is constantly updated manually (no AI or automatic things, this is real work of love)

The application includes:

  • Curated list of "community members" to support outreach
  • List of meetups sorted by location
  • List of all conferences, with CFP deadline, prices and in the near future also Sponsorship links and cost
  • Podcast with Sponsorship information.

Overall the idea is focused at "tech companies" and all the people on the list are curated and manually sorted by our team a This Dot Labs (with the help of actual core contributors of individual technologies).

What do you think of the idea? What are your initial thoughts on this? Do you have any questions or suggestions?

This is the coming soon page if you want to subscribe or see more information about the product.

Cool idea. Definitely useful! Do you have you resources on how dev tools startups should go about building their devrel strategy?

We offer DevRel as a service in This Dot Labs (thisdot.co). The tool I shared above is more like a huge database, hand-crafted and continuously updated to help people save time...

Our future idea is to also provide tools (to support the full devrel lifecycle), but for now, we want to focus on one selling point and it is about providing data...

many existing devrel teams already have their processes and tool to manage their processes, but the data is always manually crafted!

This is where DevRel City comes in place...

thisdot is very cool. I think you guys would charge a bang for Devrel services mostly not fit for early stage startups having limited budget. Nothing wrong in that though, good for you :D
